Medicea
The Medicea series draws its inspiration from the Miles stone quarried during the Renaissance period in Florence, Italy—a material shaped by hundreds of millions of years of geological evolution in the Apennine Mountains. This natural stone gained worldwide fame as the core building material for the iconic Medici Palace, emblematic of the Medici family's artistry and nobility. It became a classic symbol of power and refined taste during the Renaissance.
The Medici stone features fossil-like, weathered textures that embody the ancient sedimentation of the Apennine Mountains. We enhances this sense of timeless age and artistic tension through advanced craftsmanship, perpetuating its luxurious and elegant style. Micro-mold technology sculpts millimeter-level concave-convex textures on the tile surface to recreate the ruggedness of fossils; fine dry granule techniques replicate countless tiny ancient riverbed particles, producing a delicate matte effect under light refraction. Precision carving in the glaze layer etches varying depths of grooves, intensifying the three-dimensional and dynamic quality of the texture—transforming what was once a static stone pattern into something that seems to possess a breathing vitality.
